This form is to be used if you are thinking about a project in the circuit or local church and are looking for some support, advice or guidance from members of our District Team.
You may be considering changes to your building to enhance mission or funding a worker to carry out a specific task. Perhaps you have been exploring options and ideas with other partners and just feel that you need some help to clarify where you are going. One of the roles of our District Mission and Development Enabler (Rachel McCallam) is to provide circuits and churches with support but you may not know that there is a wider team throughout the District who can support this work.
The purpose of this initial form is to see how the District can help by channelling your enquiry to the right people. Please provide as much information as you are able.
Once the form is completed it will be received in the District Office and circulated electronically to theteam that includes Chair, Treasurer, Property Secretary, Regional Training Officer, Grants Officer, DMDE, Community Work Projects Officer and Lay Employment Officer.
The team will consult by e-mail to identify whether the embryonic project can be given practical support by the District and if so by which officer or group. The individual/s concerned will co-ordinate the offer of support, encouragement and perhaps warning. The benefit of this group will be that other’s inspirations, experience and good practice will be more easily accessed and widely known by churches which focus largely on their - local circumstances, but want to do things differently.
