Prayer Diary

[Go straight to the Prayer Diary]

It has been good to receive responses from so many people in regard to the change in format that took place last year in this Prayer Handbook. All the points raised have been noted and where possible any errors or omissions have been corrected. Please do not hesitate to get in touch over anything connected with this publication.

This is being written whilst I am working with Scripture Union Scotland in connection with their Summer Holiday Programme for children and young people. Over the short period of time here, we have been able to give our thanks to God for the ways in which he has answered prayers. Prayers not only for the spiritual and physical wellbeing of the participants, but also for practical matters, such as being able to find parts for equipment now considered partly out of date, and also further voluntary help to operate the camp site more efficiently. It was a great reminder that God is concerned with every part of our lives day by day.

During the past twelve months, a number of churches in the District have closed. We give thanks for the witness of these committed people over the years and pray that they will be able to rejoice in meeting with a different group of fellow Christians in their area. As you use this booklet during the next 12 months, may you know God’s richest blessing.
