Day 16
"People of God walk round Zion and count the towers, take notice of the walls and examine the fortresses, so that you may tell the next generation: "This God is our God for ever and ever; he will lead us for all time to come"." (Psalm 48:12.)
Lord Jesus, as we seek to declare your love and purpose, thank you that in challenge you are our vision and encouragement, in uncertainty our hope, and in weakness our strength. Amen.

I am no longer my own but yours.
Put me to what you will,
rank me with whom you will;
put me to doing,
put me to suffering;
let me be employed for you,
or laid aside for you,
exalted for you,
or brought low for you;
let me be full,
let me be empty,
let me have all things,
let me have nothing:
I freely and wholeheartedly yield all things
to your pleasure and disposal.
And now, glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
you are mine and I am yours.'
Amen

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever,
Amen
